The Ranch is named after our home course, Encinitas Ranch. Dubbed “Easy Ranch” by the locals, it’s wide open, forgiving, and a great place to post your career low. It’s casual and laid back, but still has that traditional golf course feel. E-Ranch offers beautiful ocean views to the west, occasionally snow-capped mountains to the east, and always has just enough sea breeze to keep you cool. It’s a perfect snapshot of north county in general: casual, chill, just right.
The Seagrass Ranch is a nod to that vibe, relaxed, straightforward, simple but sophisticated. It’s versatile enough for a casual loop with friends, but clean and elevated enough for a night out on the town.
The name is also a quiet tribute to Hollister Ranch, one of the last untouched stretches of coastline in Southern California. It’s a rugged, sacred place full of rolling hills, oak groves, and untouched beaches… a time capsule of California before development took over. The waves there can be world-class (though we don’t talk about that). The Ranch remains remote, uncrowded, and wild, even as the rest of Southern California has been bought and sold. And we hope it stays that way.
