Marketing Intern

Seagrass is looking for a marketing intern for the summer:

We're a small golf footwear brand based in Encinitas, CA. Founded by Ben Hinrichs, who spent the last 20 years building shoes for the skate and surf industry, the brand sits at the intersection of surf culture and golf.

Our shoes are engineered for the course, but designed for everyday life. Built with clean, wearable styling, genuine comfort, and the most sustainable materials we can find.

You will be working directly with Ben on instagram content, strategy, and growth. No coffee runs...

This is a part-time remote position requiring approximately 10 hours per week. We are happy to accommodate your needs, and can adapt the role to the right candidate.

The ideal candidate is a university student studying marketing or a related field, who knows instagram inside and out. Someone with experience growing instagram accounts with a focus on content creation, reach, and engagement. But more importantly, you're just a chill person who gets the culture. You golf, surf, skate, or just love the coastal lifestyle and want to do something creative this summer.

Here's what we're looking for:

1. Passion for golf, surfing, and the coastal lifestyle.
2. Experience growing instagram accounts with a focus on organic content creation.
3. A solid understanding of Meta and instagram strategy.
4. Someone excited to learn and help a small brand do something special.
5. Located in Southern California.
   

This is NOT your standard corporate internship. It's a chance to get your hands dirty, get some real world experience, and have a lot of fun along the way.

This is a paid internship at $20/hour, approximately 10 hours per week for 8 weeks. Compensation is processed through payroll and subject to standard tax withholding.
